Tomas Cwierz

International Trade, Trade Remedies, Non-Tariff Barriers

 

Prior to joining Uno, worked as an analyst of antidumping, subsidies and safeguard investigations for the Argentinian Ministry of Economy, where he participated in the majority of cases initiated by Argentina between 2005 and 2009. He also gained experience in trade negotiations by participating in the rules debates at the Doha Round Negotiations. While at the Argentinian Ministry of Economy, his major tasks included the reformulation of the templates for the exporters’ antidumping questionnaires, the drafting of new regulations on trade remedies investigations, and the establishment of the criteria that an economy in transition must satisfy in order to be considered as a market economy. In addition to working with Uno, Tomas works as an external advisor for the Buenos Aires municipality for SMEs and business development, investment and innovation matters.
Tomas obtained a degree in Economics from Buenos Aires University (2004)Tomas also studied related fields like mathematics, programing, statistics, business administration and accountancy in the same university.
