Rafael Oliveira
International Trade, Trade Remedies, Non-Tariff Barriers
Rafael assists clients in trade-related matters covering a wide range of subjects, such as antidumping, countervailing duties and safeguards measures, tariff and classification changes, and in the identification of distortive practices affecting international trade, intellectual property rights and trade finance. He has worked with companies in the glassware, textile and chemical industries. Rafael has assisted companies located in Brazil, as well as foreign companies from India, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Thailand, China, the United States, Mexico, and the European Union. Rafael graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica with a degree in International Relations, attending currently to a Specialization Course in Business Economics. He also taught, during one semester, a course on Trade Remedies Economics’ at the Department of Economics of Pontifícia Universidade Católica. He has also been involved in studies of negotiations, accountancy, capital markets, among others.
